We start your trip through the wilderness trek to Rupina la, a completely new trekking segment covering the lush green forest of mid hills to snow-capped alpine region of Boudha Himal range. A true gem, nestled amidst the adjoining trekking routes of Tsum and Manaslu region, Rupina la is a wanderlust for the pure lovers of serene wilderness and adventure. After crossing 4500m+ Rupina la pass, we will enter the culturally rich enclave of Tsum.

Opened for tourism only in 2008 A.D, Tsum is pristine elongated valley situated between massif of Shringhi and Ganesh himal. Still intact and away from the influence of modernity, people of Tsum possess richness in its authentic culture and tradition. With our local knowledge, we assure your homestay and monastery– stay a topnotch experience. From Tsum, we will enter the home to the world’s eight highest mountain, as termed Kang Pungyen in local vernacular.

Manaslu region is popular trekking destination. While your trek along the roaring Budi Gandaki river in the lapse of majestic mountains, you’ll be greeted by warm smile of people. After a supreme wanderlust in Rupina la and dealing with rich culture of Tsum, Manaslu will be wonderful experience concluding your trek in beautiful guest houses and crossing Larke pass situated above five thousand meters.

Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1 Arrival: Kathmandu
Day 2 Kathmandu sightseeing/ Permit issue
Day 3 4wd drive: to Barpak/Laprak (7–8hrs)
Day 4 to 10 Walk: seven days of camping in wilderness of Rupinala (2500m–4750m)
Day 11 Walk: Nyak to Lokpa (4hrs, 2200m)
Day 12 to 18 Walk: seven days of culturally immersive trip in Tsum (2200m–3900m)
Day 19 Walk: Chumling to Deng (5hrs, 1920m)
Day 20 to 28 Walk: eight days of trip in Manaslu (1920m–5108m)
Day 29 & 30 Walk: two days of descend from Bhimthang to Dharapani (3590m–1963m)
Day 30 & 31 Drive: Dharapani to Besi Sahar and to Kathmandu (1963m–1360m, 5hrs and 6hrs)
Day 32 A day of contingency
Note: We understand that this is a long trip, more than a month. Additionally, you can customize your trip for specific section of Rupinala, Tsum or Manaslu. Prior to the mentioned period for the specific section,additional 6 days are recommended for your travel back to Kathmandu.
